Watercolor Artist

Lives in Mount Gretna.

I am a watercolor artist, and have been painting for many years. I am inspired by the scenery, architecture, and aura of Mount Gretna. I also enjoy painting florals and seascapes. I am a retired art teacher, and found inspiration from my very youngest students. Their expressions were pure and from their hearts and not tainted by rules, trends, or “helpful” adults. I am always working towards an honest and unrestrained composition.

Framed paintings, matted prints, and notecards are on display and for sale at the Porch And Pantry Café. Mrs. Hernley (Mount Gretna Flower Lady) sells my prints, note cards, and calendars in the Spring, Summer, and Fall on Fridays and Saturdays. The Timbers Restaurant sells framed original paintings, prints, note cards, and calendars in December, January and February.
